ASSO.FITRAM is established in August 2005 by a group of public transport lovers interested in different issues such as service, mobile ad static material, in every aspect.. 

During the last 5 years ASSO.FITRAM has protected from destruction many urban and extra-urban buses which contributed to the history of local transport of the last 50 years. Every year a special commission organizes the restoration of some cars, that will then be presented and will parade during the numerous meetings of historic vehicles in which the Association participates or that the Association organizes. Restorations are generally taken care of by members or, in case of complex interventions, by external organizations, usually funded thanks to the contribution of ATC S.p.a. of LA SPEZIA and of other local offices.

The life of the association includes, during the year, numerous thematic initiatives addressed to its members, such as: visits to museums, plants linked to local public transport, participation in congresses and seminars, up to the mainly playful and recreational aspect represented by lunches and dinners and excursions for members and their families.

We want to remind that the main appointment of the year, for ASSO.FITRAM, is the local San Giuseppe fair which takes place around March 19th.

The Fair, that represents the main traditional appointment for the city of La Spezia and lasts a few days, is an occasion of great attraction for the association;

During the fair days, many events which change every year are organized, such as:

exhibition of the latest restores vehicles;

visits to museums or places, by historic buses;

presentation of publications linked to public transport field;

photographic exhibitions;

parades of historic vehicles, and whatever can attract new admirers.
