Since 1977 ATC has acquired the highest experience about people road transport. The company makes use of the high professionalism of its staff (both travelling and ground staff) and has a large and efficient fleet of means able to satisfy users from La Spezia and its province.

Since 2009 ATC S.p.A. has handed over the management, according to the licence agreement drew up with the Province of La Spezia, of the local public transport within the "L" basin of Liguria Region to ATC Esercizio S.p.A company.

Urban service is carried out on the territory of the Municipality of La Spezia while the extra-urban service extends to all the Province of La Spezia, also connecting the neighbouring Municipalities of Carrara, Aulla and the Province of Reggio Emilia.
